About Us
The Utah Houndsmen Association is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Our Story
Rooted in tradition and shaped by generations, the Utah Houndsmen are committed to preserving the heritage of hound hunting in Utah. What began as a way of life on the mountain has grown into a united effort to protect not only the sport, but the wildlife and lands that make it possible.
Working alongside wildlife agencies, we promote responsible management and ethical hunting practices to ensure a balanced future for both hunters and wildlife. Just as important, we are dedicated to passing this legacy on—teaching the next generation the values of respect, stewardship, and community.
For us, it’s more than hunting—it’s a tradition worth protecting.
